About Daniel Coughlin

I have experience as a writer, editor, marketer, creative lead, and managing corporate projects and initiatives. My current focus is on completing my MBA course through the University of Wisconsin MBA Consortium while I run my own small business. I own Hardline Hardwear, a bodybuilding and heavy music focused project. I have written, designed, and sold multiple issues of a magazine, designed shirts and posters, and produced more than 100 videos. I run all facets of the business including email marketing, social media, creative direction, sourcing, shipping, graphic design, and all other duties involved in producing content and clothing. I have worked as an editor and staff writer covering the NBA for FanSided, SB Nation and other sites. I have work experience in the corporate/financial world of marketing and design as part of an in-house agency for a $2+ billion financial. I have also worked in marketing for an organization that owns and operates a diverse selection of properties, business entities, and events. My experience has created the ability to be extremely versatile and dynamic working with photography, editing, design, marketing, social media, and the occasional menu layout for fine dining. No dull moments. My work has won multiple awards from various regional and national associations. I've done video work for commercials and testimonials, a mountain of marketing campaign materials from budgeting to creative to implementation across all channels including digital, television, in-store/location/office, billboards, and print ads.
