What's more, I work efficiently both individually and with a team. I am currently employed as a process chemist at Cambrex in Longmont, CO. This biopharmaceutical CDMO works in conjuction with a myriad of biotech clients and offers Drug Development, Drug Production/Manufacturing, Analytical and Quality Control services on a multitudeof preclinical and clinical drugs. I conduct R&D organic chemistry reactions to optimize the syntheses/processes of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs), which are the target final compounds. This is done to make synthetic processes more efficient and optimal by minimizing reagent use and waste while simultaneously saving time and money. Way back when in 2015, I graduated with a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Northern Colorado. Excelling on all fronts academically, I graduated at the top of my class (Summa Cum Laude) with a GPA of 3.99 and received numerous awards for academic distinction throughout my three year stint at UNC. I also studied Spanish in college for five years, receiving a minor degree in the language.
