About Daniel Crispino

I am a 4th-year music education student also minoring in child development and agriculture. My passion for music began in 2010 when my first music teacher Ryan Heimlich introduced me to the trombone. The next year in 2011, I switched over to the clarinet and have been playing it ever since. In high school, I became involved in numerous amounts of leadership work through the National FFA Organization and as a drum major for the Red Bluff High School Band. My experiences in both FFA and music led me to want to continue working with students and create a generation of future leaders. I currently serve as the Chico State’s National Association for Music Education president, a student ambassador for the College of Humanities and Fine Arts, work with first-generation college students through TRIO Student Support Services as an academic coach, worked with Chico State Summer Orientation as a peer advisor, volunteers with the College of Agriculture, and is involved with Chico State’s Child Development Student Association. I am an aspiring teacher wanting to make a difference in the lives of students and provide them with opportunities.
