About Daniel Crotty

With over six years of experience in film exhibition, playing pivotal roles in multiple locations throughout San Diego, I have developed strong skills in diverse areas such as marketing, communication, stock control, and billing. I led a major push at my last two locations to build contact with studio representatives to collaborate on plans for marketing strategies. At my most recent position this partnership saw us double attendance for advance Thursday night screenings. I juggled that task while handling my responsibilities as an inventory manager. What started as overseeing weekly stock counts and investigating discrepancies grew into a role coding and processing invoices as well. These functions demanded accuracy and strong attention to detail, which I demonstrated in my thorough performance. Colleagues know me as intensely collaborative, open and eager to hearing new ideas while never losing sight of customer satisfaction. It is this receptivity while bringing my own contributions to the table that have afforded me success and seamless integration when joining new teams. I have a BA in Political Science from the University of California, San Diego, where I also received extensive and valuable communications training.
