About Daniel Curran

Its been an amazing journey so far. I created my own honors degree program for art in High School, the first of its kind. From there it was off to college to study graphic design. A year of "social activities" led to the lack of an invitation from the university to return so I joined the United States Submarine Service. Submarine life was an amazing opportunity to pick up additional skills in everything from electronics, radio, nuclear power, hydraulics and sonar to areas involving administrative procedures, tactics, and teaching. Shore duty coincided with the public debut of the Internet around 1994. Right place, right time. The shore duty rotation also allowed me to finish my Bachelor's Degree - this time graduating with honors. With experience in the graphic design field, a degree in psychology and hands-on time with the emerging world of the Internet it was off to Nikon Precision where the day-to-day operations of a corporate environment were revealed. My time at Nikon allowed me to sharpen my skills and acquire new ones - taxonomy, corporate documentation systems, intranets, databases and more. It also allowed me to use the G.I. Bill money I had invested in to complete a dual MBA in Business Administration and Technology Management; MBA/TM - again graduating with honors. I started moonlighting with Devil's Canyon Brewery in 2005 which lead to a position as the Head Brewer when the previous one moved on. Due to changes in the operating environment, in 2006 there were 3 employees; the owners and me. As systems were fine-tuned and operations re-examined the brewery began to grow. A new Head Brewer was brought on-board and I was able to begin to focus on my first loves - Art, Psychology, and Science, also known as Marketing and Sales. I left the brewery in 2016. Today I am honored to be in a position where I can take years of experience in seemingly disparate fields and apply it to businesses, brands, projects and people I feel passionate about.
