About Daniel de Becker
Completed a PhD and post doc in applied robotics and the use of hybrid manufacturing using an autonomous industrial robotic arm. With a particular interest in the rail industry and the autonomous repair of railway lines as well as 3D concrete printing. I am currently part of the Mechanical Design team working on a large variety of projects, from low TRL level concept design and manufacturing feasibility studies to production components and testing equipment. I work with a wide variety of clients including the fission, fusion and defence sectors. I work closely within my team and complete tasks independently, often to extremely tight deadlines. Throughout my time in this role, I have further developed my skills in project management and mechanical design, including the use of appropriate design standards and design methodologies in a wide variety of industries.
