About Daniel Dean

I have more than 27 years of experience in infrastructure, nuclear and clean energy and project finance; public-private partnerships and M&A advisory services. I currently work as an independent expert consultant within these specialised fields. I am the founder, former CEO and Board Member of the non-profit initiative, the International Bank for Nuclear Infrastructure-Implementation Organisation (IBNI-IO). I am also the founder, owner and CEO of Dean Capital Strategies GmbH (DCS), a Vienna, Austria based strategic consulting network firm focused on advising private sector and public sector clients in markets globally. DCS is focused primarily on the Infrastructure, Energy & Utilities and Industrial sectors, providing transaction, project finance, M&A and strategic/management advisory services and project/program management services to its clients. I have been and continue to be active in numerous other start-up ventures over the past decade. Additionally, I have recently served in independent expert advisory roles to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), International Finance Corporation (IFC), US Department of Energy / Argonne National Laboratory (ANL) and King Abdullah Center for Renewable and Atomic Energy (K.A. CARE). In my prior role at Raiffeisen Bank International in Vienna, I headed Raiffeisen's infrastructure advisory practice as part of the M&A division. Prior to working for Raiffeisen, I was as a Vice President at Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAML) where I co-headed the US Public Infrastructure and Group.
