About Daniel Devine

Daniel Devine is a licensed Acupuncturist in the states of Michigan, California and Georgia. He graduated from Five Branches University in Santa Cruz, CA with a Master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and completed a Doctoral degree in Medical Qigong and in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the International Institute of Medical Qigong, the overseas branch of Henan University of TCM, China, and from Beijing Western District Qigong Science and Traditional Chinese Medicine Research Institute, China, respectfully. In all, Daniel has completed nearly hours of post-bachelor’s training in Eastern and Western Medical Sciences to serve the patient. He continues to update his knowledge and skills through continuing education and professional development courses. Daniel currently is the founding provider of Natural Ease Acupuncture, a private practice located in Troy, Michigan offering acupuncture, Reconnective Healing, and Chinese Medicine with intention of facilitating the health and well being of each person who seeks improvement in their current state of being. He also offers acupuncture through the Integrative Medicine Department with Beaumont Health in Royal Oak, MI, southeast Michigan’s largest healthcare system. Daniel has experience working with a wide range of patients, from those who are relatively healthy to those severely ill, including 2 years serving at a cancer treatment center where many patients were diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. Daniel’s knowledge and background serves the patient by helping provide a guide between the two worlds of East and West, Chinese Medicine and standard Allopathic Medicine, and how they can integrate to optimize their health. Outside of his practice Daniel enjoys teaching Taijiquan (Tai Chi) and qigong classes, and has served as faculty at Five Branches University. Daniel also practices the martial art Baguazhang (Ba Gua), plays tennis and enjoys a good hike outdoors. Daniel has a strong interest in spirituality with a focus on learning deeper aspects of Daoism and Buddhism, both of which have greatly influenced the origins of Chinese Medicine.
