As a graduate student with prior experience as a Fund Accounting Intern and a Finance/Operations Intern, I am eager to develop my career and start applying my skills in the financial/fund field. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Finance from Elon University, where I completed coursework in accounting, financial modeling, planning, and other relevant metrics. During my Fund Accounting internship, I gained hands-on experience in financial reporting, account reconciliation, variance analysis, and capital call calculations. I also developed strong analytical and problem-solving skills by working with complex fund structures and ensuring data integrity under strict deadlines. In my Finance/Operations internship, I worked closely with cross-functional teams on budgeting, financial modeling, and process improvement initiatives, strengthening my proficiency in Excel and enhancing my attention to detail and organizational skills.
