I am a Computer Engineer by profession with a specialization in project management and studying a master in cibersecurity, with more than 25 years of active experience in Information Technology and management of technological projects of different kinds. I have been an eyewitness of how, fortunately, technology has become increasingly relevant in the processes and in the achievement of business objectives within companies. Being part of this has been highly satisfying, demanding and motivating, as well as maintaining the validity of my knowledge throughout my career. I have held positions in public and mostly private companies in different areas such as energy and oil, hydroelectric generation, civil construction, forestry, technology and more recently in the industrial fishing and salmon sector; which have been related to the professional development of software, design and implementation of services and communication network platforms, servers and computer security, while allowing me to interact within multidisciplinary teams and between the different horizontal and vertical levels of organizations. Over the past 20 years I have specialized in IT platform operational continuity management, which includes experience in on-premise and cloud platforms, cybersecurity, Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), etc. Over time and as I have optimized my own learning processes, I have managed to include computer security as a fundamental pillar in all the technological processes for which I have been responsible.
