With a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Maryland, complemented by certificates in Hydrogen Energy, Renewable Energy Solutions, and Renewable Energy Management & Finance, I possess a strong academic foundation combined with practical expertise gained through hands-on experience. My journey in the realm of renewable energy began with immersive experiences such as the Renewable Energy Winter Abroad Program at the University of Kassel, Germany, and an internship at Reverion GmbH where I programmed the HMI for biogas conversion process systems. These experiences not only broadened my understanding of global energy challenges but also fueled my commitment to driving sustainable solutions. Throughout my professional career, I honed my skills as a Control Systems Engineer at Bechtel Corporation in Tennessee, where I contributed to the procurement and programming of control systems for a nuclear facility, and then at Stöger Automation in Germany, where I played a pivotal role in the commissioning and optimization of PLCs for automized machinery. In addition to my technical skills, I am fluent in English and possess a B2 level proficiency in German, enabling me to effectively communicate and collaborate in multicultural settings. My commitment to continuous learning is evidenced by my pursuit of professional certifications, including the Bechtel Engineer Certificate and the Engineer in Training Certificate. Outside of work, I am an avid sports enthusiast, a passionate hiker, and an adventurous traveler. I also enjoy engaging in strategic board games, which fuel my problem-solving skills and foster creativity.
