About Daniel Duron

As a dedicated and passionate social justice advocate, I have dedicated my professional career to serving marginalized communities and promoting equity through various roles in research, event planning, and mentorship. Currently, I am working as a part-time Social Media Ambassador for REFORM Alliance, where I utilize my skills in public relations, social media management, and event planning to amplify the organization's mission and impact. In addition, I have extensive experience working with incarcerated individuals as a Research Assistant at Pomona College, Writing Tutor through the Claremont College's Justice Education Initiative, and as a key co-organizer for The Claremont College's first academic conference solely organized by formerly incarcerated alumni. Through these roles, I have honed my skills in research, strategy, and teamwork, and have gained a deep understanding of the complexities and nuances of the criminal justice system. Furthermore, I have a strong background in community building and mentorship, as demonstrated by my work as a Research Fellow and Intern at Pitzer College, where I organized monthly community building events for first-generation students and provided mentorship for transitioning college students. I am a highly motivated and dedicated professional with a strong commitment to social justice and equity. I look forward to connecting with like-minded individuals and organizations to continue making a positive impact in the world.
