My name is Daniel Elison, I am a father of two and have over 20 years of experience in sales, customer service, presentation and training - often skills that I have developed simultaneously through numerous ‘hybrid’ roles that make up my curriculum vitae. For the past four years I have enjoyed a role that combines both my sales/customer service skills with one of my true passions - hosting live events - in the form of the live fundraising/corporate experience known as ‘Bogan Bingo’, where I perform as my alter ego, “Danno”. This has been incredibly fulfilling for me, as I have also run the NSW franchise as a separate entity to Bogan Bingo National, and therefore taking responsibility for the development and management of staff and business. The role is part-time with performances usually taking place on the weekends, and I spent the rest of my week looking after my kids and household while my partner works full-time - however, with my eldest off to school this month and my youngest in care 3 days a week, I have taken the decision to find a sales role that would help me get a bit more ‘work’ into my ‘work-life balance’ while also providing an additional source of income to my family. I am looking for a role that will ideally- require me to employ some or all of my skills in sales and customer service, relationship management, event management/planning, training and presenting to others - allow me to work 15-25 hours a week. I am flexible with respect to the right role and opportunity, and always open to a chat about your needs. I have sales experience across many industries but I am perhaps most credible in event sales as well as education, as I have had years and years of exposure to both industries, in sales roles or otherwise. I am a natural salesman and performer, who has spent 20 years honing skills in the areas of customer service and customer engagement. I have experience training and managing people in these areas. I am a hard worker and a self-starter, enthusiastic and energetic, as passionate a communicator in type as I am in person, and I’m looking for a chance to prove myself and make a difference with the right company - the right team.
