About Daniel Edward Yake

To begin; Presently I am a Surveillance Supervisor with Great Canadian Entertainment (formerly OLG - Casino Division-Government), where I have had both the honor and challenge of being part of the opening team. This responsible position requires me to have elite specialties regarding the corporation’s best practices, regulatory compliance policy & procedures and lead sensitive government/corporate investigations. In addition, I have always had a strong passion and instinct for negotiations and labor relations, which assisted me in becoming involved with the Employee Fairness Appeal Board as a Provincial Arbitrator in disputes between Management and Front-Line Staff for the OLG. I enjoy my position very much; however, it has always been one of my long-term objectives to expand my horizons within my chosen vocation. Furthermore, I feel the extensive, sensitive and special government training I have acquired - coupled with my professional pilot training and professional speaking has sharpened my decision-making skills, enhanced my leadership abilities and strengthened my organizational, analytical and advocacy skills. I am a team player, I am loyal, I am trustworthy, I have been a company man all my life and I am good in a crisis. I believe in actions, purpose, purity of vocation and the challenges driven by them.
