About Daniel Edwards

Daniel’s passion for environmental preservation, an undying curiosity of the built environment and a sincere appreciation for design are integral to his contributions as one of the firms co-founders. His landscape related experience is diverse with 22 years spent working in the nursery trade, landscape design/build business and as a landscape architect. His 14 years of landscape architecture experience allows him to confidently communicate with clientele and stakeholders, thoroughly execute the design process and effectively coordinate details with contractors to create a quality finished product. The goal in mind for every project is to create healthy, meaningful environments for people to live and for nature to thrive. He is a registered landscape architect, licensed landscape contractor and LEED Accredited Professional. His expertise in sustainable design is utilized using LID technologies whenever possible. He participates as a speaker for the Sustainable Building Advisors Program at Mount Hood Community College, was invited to speak at the 2009 Greenroofs For Healthy Cities Conference and has contributed his experience to Portland State University for stormwater studies for the Central Library Greenroof in Portland OR. His experience includes but is not limited to community development, schools, medical campus planning, healing garden design, hospitality, riparian enhancement and greenroofs. When Daniel is not busy creating new environments you can find him on a paddle board or backpacking in one of our pristinely preserved Pacific Northwest wilderness areas.
