Experienced Petroleum Engineer with a passion for the energy sector and extensive experience in production optimization, reservoir modeling and simulation, driving high-value field management projects. Formulated a proposal for use of an Offshore Construction Vessel to do a well integrity test on a production well instead of normal testing procedures. The well integrity test was completed with the vessel, and it saved Vår Energi ASA over $1 million. Acted as the lead Reservoir Engineer for a 6-month project aimed at building a combined reservoir model for two operated reservoirs/fields. Performed a comprehensive quality check to ensure consistent inputs. The model was approved and is currently being used for all reservoir simulation work by the Subsurface team. Supervised a three-phase 6-month Emulsion-Viscosity Reducer trial designed to optimize production on 10 oil wells by mitigating slugging in these wells. An uplift of up to 20% was observed from the trial, and has been approved for full field implementation. Led the design and maturation of 4 new infill wells, as the Reservoir Engineer for BalderX Project; Vår Energi's biggest project. All 4 infill wells were drilled and are currently on production, delivering significant volumes of over barrels of oil per day.
