About Daniel Eisenhuth

With over 18 years of experience in sustainability and infrastructure, I am passionate about providing quantifiable solutions to business decisions and strategies. As a partner at EY, I focus particularly on the growing e-fuels, hydrogen, and bioenergy market, where I help companies as well as the public sector decarbonize and transform. My work ranges from developing strategies for the regional hydrogen economy, to designing national bioenergy strategies, to enabling the production of sustainable (aviation) fuels (e-fuels and biofuels). A particular focus is on building business models that enable my clients to act both as demanders of green hydrogen and bioenergy derivatives and as investors or producers in these sectors. I am committed to linking sustainability efforts with business value creation by helping companies financially manage their sustainability transformation. In doing so, I use my expertise in business modeling to develop concrete and financially viable business cases that minimize the barriers to investment decisions. In my role as a lecturer at Leuphana University of Lüneburg, I have also shared my skills in financial modeling and M&A to train the next generation of sustainability and finance professionals.
