About Daniel Elswit

I am a proven technical leader with over 30 years experience developing and managing technology solutions in the fields of business, the environment, agriculture, and health. I bring a broad range of knowledge and skills to my role, which coalesce into an ability to listen and communicate effectively with stakeholders, deeply understand business process, and empower teams to deliver well-crafted solutions. In my current position, I am the Director and technical lead of the Administrative Applications team in the ILR School at Cornell University, working in both strategic and technical roles, mainly around Salesforce. Driven by a passion to explore, understand, and create, and an insatiable curiosity, I never stop seeking out opportunities to expand my horizons. My primary interests beyond Salesforce strategy and development, are fiction writing, archaeology, board game design, astronomy, and playing dulcimer. I am currently working on a science-fiction book involving archaeology and time travel in Shetland.
