About Daniel Emerson

I lead Corporate Development for Aquarian Holdings, a diversified holding company with ~$19.5bn of AUM and a focus on insurance and asset management businesses. In this role, I work closely with our CEO / Managing Partner and CFO to develop and execute the M&A strategy for the holding company including post-acquisition integration. Additionally, I help oversee our capital raising activities and investor relations function. Prior to Aquarian, I was a senior investment professional at Bayview Asset Management, a leading alternative asset manager, with extensive experience across a wide range of financial services, real estate, and business services companies. Deep expertise in sourcing, underwriting, and executing investments and M&A transactions with particular focus on deal negotiation / structuring, financial analysis, leading operational, financial and legal diligence and post-transaction value creation. Previously, I was an investment banker at Citi working closely with financial services and fintech companies to evaluate, model, structure, and negotiate M&A and capital raising transactions. Prior to business school, I worked at Aon consulting multinational corporate and private equity clients on insurance and risk management issues pertaining to international operations.
