About Daniel Fells

I consider myself an advocate for infectious disease control, education and the humane treatment of animals. I enjoy speaking to children and young adults, at schools and recreation centers like the YMCA, about my life journey so far, as well as the importance of education and hard work as well as eating habits and exercising. I am a family man first and foremost. I enjoy spending time with my wife, who is a published novelist, and our two children, Lennon and Layla. We enjoy outdoor activities, such as hiking and camping, and we are also passionate about cooking. Our passion for cooking is what sparked my interest in the restaurant industry and is what led me to actively participate in several internships to get to know the restaurant business. My NFL career was ended due to contracting a MRSA infection. I was hospitalized for 18 days and nearly lost my life. That experience changed everything in my life. That is what lead me to champion a company named Applied Silver. They are the inventors of a revolutionary technology called SilvaClean. They are doing amazing things in the infectious disease control realm and I am honored to be an advocate for their fight against this epidemic that nearly took my life away.
