Background

About Daniel Fleet

As a Graduate Planner at NHS Property Services, I undertake a range of planning responsibilities to maximise NHS services and it’s property portfolio. I collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, such as local authorities, developers, and Integrated Care Boards, to deliver effective and sustainable planning and development solutions. I have a Mplan degree in Urban Studies and Planning from the University of Sheffield, where I developed my analytical, communication, and report writing skills. I also have a year of experience as an Assistant Planner at Transport for London Commercial Development, where I gained a high-level, technical understanding of the planning system within London and the wider UK. I worked on both policy and development management projects, involving consultation, appraisal, and application processes. I am passionate about maximising the effectiveness of our public sector institutions through the planning system. I am also highly interested in forward-thinking planning policy that can improve the social and environmental resilience of local communities. I am eager to apply my skills and experience to contribute towards the NHS, helping to provide better primary health care access for communities across the country.
