About Daniel Flindt

I studied general and science courses at Chandler-Gilbert Community College (CGCC) where I earned an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Liberal Studies. Then, studied Nuclear Medicine Technology (NMT) at Gateway Community College (GWCC) where I earned an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in NMT. I continued studying nuclear medicine diagnostic medical imaging and therapy (DMIT) at Northern Arizona University (NAU) where I earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Health Science. I performed my graduate studies at Arizona State University (ASU) where I studied Biomedical Diagnostics (BMD) and earned my Master of Science (M.S.) degree in BMD. I currently work at GateWay Community College in Phoenix, AZ as an Adjunct Professor for the nuclear medicine program and at Tucson Medical Center (TMC) and HonorHealth Osborn, Shea, and Thompson Peak Medical Centers as a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT). My primary goal is to enter a doctorate program in Medical Physics (MP) where I will earn my (Doctor of Philosophy) Ph.D. and my Qualified Medical Physicist (QMP) license. I am currently working on my final physics and computer science prerequisites for MP school at ASU. In my doctorate studies, I will focus on nuclear medicine diagnostics and therapeutics. I will work in academic, clinical, and industrial environments as a Ph.D, QMP specializing in nuclear medicine and molecular imaging diagnostics and therapies.
