About Daniel Fournier

History: I sold cars to put myself through college with my B.S. in Math. I worked my way up to a supervisory role at the dealership that I worked at which helped me gain leadership experience. Then, I landed a role as a web developer and sharpened my programming skills. I graduated from the University of Maryland in Spring of 2021 with my Bachelors degree. I landed a job as a web developer at Pratt & Whitney Engine Services that gave me more experience with non browser based software since High School & College. Personal: I love to learn and continue to improve on my skills; I strive every day to be better than yesterday. Academic Passions: I find machine learning very interesting because of my love of mathematics and my interest and aptitude at programming. I think that many processes in industry will become more automated (perhaps even entirely) in the next 5 - 10 years. I think that this will open up new opportunities for Humanity to learn, grow, evolve, and explore and I would like to be on the cutting edge of it.
