For me, science and engineering have never been about ticking boxes or meeting minimum requirements — they’ve always been about creating solutions that make a difference for the company and in the development of team members. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of leading teams that transform complex technical challenges into safe, effective, and innovative products or processes within the medical device and life sciences sector. This could be from brining new products to market, building marketing platforms to expose service expertise, or remediating projects to bring them to current expectations. My career has taken me across R&D labs, product development pipelines, and quality and compliance environments governed by FDA, MDR and molded by GMP, GLP, ISO, and AAMI. Along the way, I’ve learned how to bridge many corporate worlds: the rigor of regulatory expectations, the joy of building team member experiences, pushing beyond positive customer experiences, and the urgency of business growth. Whether it’s designing and validating new products, steering inspection readiness, or optimizing supply chains, I focus on aligning technical excellence with strategic outcomes. I believe strong leadership is not about directives, but about cultivating trust, collaboration, proper delegation for maximum productivity, and continuous improvement. That’s why I embrace Lean, Six Sigma, and 5S practices — not as buzzwords, but as everyday disciplines that influence and inspire people to unlock advancements and efficiency. Today, what motivates me is building environments where innovation thrives, quality is never compromised, and teams feel proud of the work they deliver.
