Lead VRS Manages the daily operations of the Transitional Work, Supported Employment and Community Based Employments programs. Lead is responsible for Developing team goals, priorities, work assignments, actionable events, and/or program issues under review that have been identified. Assigns deadlines and time frames for completion to embrace a seamless continuum of care, developing strategies and implementing them to assure CWT Services are integrated with other hospital services. Leads the team in identifying, distributing, and balancing workload and tasks among employees in accordance with established work flow, skill level and/or occupational specialization; making adjustments to accomplish the workload in accordance with established priorities to ensure timely accomplishment of assigned tasks; and ensuring that each employee has an integral role in the services offered. Verify that program requirements are completed in a timely manner, including monthly chart audits, monthly and quarterly recording of performance data and submission of Northeast Program Evaluation Center (NEPEC) data is entered and transmitted. Prepares reports and maintains records of work accomplishments and administrative information. Responsible for the overall maintenance of accounting controls, billings, payroll, pay records and all Compensated Work Therapy funds. Directs program resources based on past history, anticipated workload, and the acuity of the patients served. Accountability includes coordination of all staff to ensure they are following the correct procedures for credit card usage and approval, purchasing, billing and payroll oversight. Assures accuracy of all financial reports connected with the program with the additional requirements for Fiscal Service at the VAHCS.
