About Daniel Fuster

My name is Daniel Fuster, and I am a fourth-year finance student at The Ohio State University. In high school, I co-founded an iOS development company, Bench Squad Games, with my fellow soccer teammates. Without prior knowledge of app development, we were able to create and release an iOS app, receiving over five thousand downloads from twenty-three countries. Originally from Los Angeles, I decided to further my studies at a university within a different part of the country to expand my perspective. Due to my experiences visiting family in Spain and Puerto Rico as a young child, I have developed an appreciation of diversity in all forms. As a member of Morrill Scholars, a selective merit and diversity based scholarship group, I have furthered my commitment to diversity and inclusion. I am 100% self-funding my tuition through the Morrill Prominence Scholarship, which is a full-tuition scholarship awarded to students who display high performance in academics, as well as a demonstrated commitment to diversity. During the summer of 2018, I worked with Perchmount to develop financial forecasts for a product-in-development. I also participated in the competitive Summer Dean’s Leadership Academy where I completed a program of graduate-level courses in topics such as negotiations, crucial conversations, and organization coaching. I received a certificate from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business in Leadership, as well as certifications in Crucial Conversations and Crucial Accountability from Vital Smarts. During my sophomore year, I participated in the Deloitte Career Launch Program, where I worked with my cohort to develop business soft skills and gain a better understanding of a career in professional services. I am currently working as a Student Administrative Assistant for the Ohio State University.
