About Daniel Genovese

I am a highly qualified Science Teacher and experienced Software Engineer with a military background. My unique combination of skills and experience sets me apart. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Kean University, and have a passion for teaching and inspiring academic success in my students. As a Science Teacher, I have a proven track record, having taught science courses at Lakewood High School and Christa McAuliffe Middle School. I was responsible for creating and implementing Science curriculum, assessing student comprehension, and encouraging student interest in STEM. I have excellent classroom management skills and am committed to providing a consistent and focused learning environment for my students. In addition to my teaching experience, I have a background in software development & Cyber Security. I have designed, implemented, and monitored web pages and plugins for continuous improvement. I am proficient in several coding languages such as Javascript & Python, and have maintained the efficiency and security of websites after launch. My military background as a 68W Health Care Specialist has provided me with the skills to prioritize medical procedures and evaluate injured or ill personnel. This experience has further strengthened my ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments and make informed decisions in real-time. With my expertise in teaching, software development/Cyber Security, and military experience, I am well-rounded and dedicated to continuing my professional development. I am a strong communicator and am proficient in technology integration and online instruction. I am committed to empowering my students through interactive and fun lessons and am dedicated to their academic success.
