Finance Lead managing the finance function and reporting directly to the Finance Director. I implement key processes to ensure the department delivers accurate and relevant information to both internal and external stakeholders, adding value through process improvements and data analysis. I am responsible for generating and presenting monthly management accounts to the Senior Leadership Team, providing relevant analysis and context through KPIs to facilitate decision-making. In this role, I manage the workloads of direct reports, verify their work, and delegate tasks where appropriate, enabling them to contribute effectively to the month-end process. I also mentor direct reports, supporting their career progression. This position requires constant communication with other internal departments and external service providers. Ad-hoc, high-level analysis and individual project work are also significant aspects of my role. My previous experience includes roles as a Finance Business Partner, Finance Manager, Senior Management Accountant, and in transactional positions such as Accounts Receivable and Budget Management. I am highly proficient in the use of Excel and various accounting software packages.
