I am currently a Solutions Engineer at Kneat Solutions with a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from Technological University Dublin. I am a Mechanical Engineer by discipline, with a passion for innovation, problem-solving, and driving efficiency in regulated industries. My passion for engineering led me to pursue a career in the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors. For two years, I worked as a Medical Device Engineer at the National Rehabilitation Hospital, where I gained valuable experience in the design, development, and manufacturing of medical devices. I was involved in projects that delivered cutting-edge solutions with the potential to transform patient care and save lives. I then joined Körber Pharma as an Automation Project Engineer, where I was responsible for designing and implementing Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) to improve the efficiency and quality of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes. This involved collaborating with cross-functional teams—production, quality, and IT—to ensure seamless MES integration alongside PLC and DCS systems. Now, as a Solutions Engineer at Kneat Solutions, I leverage my engineering background and industry experience to deliver innovative digital validation and document management solutions for the life sciences sector. My role involves working closely with clients to understand their processes, configure solutions to their needs, and ensure successful deployment that enhances compliance, productivity, and overall operational excellence. Throughout my career, I have demonstrated the ability to deliver results, work effectively under pressure, and adapt to changing environments. I am always seeking new challenges and opportunities to expand my expertise and create meaningful impact through technology-driven solutions.
