After having written over 80 million in premium in 14 years with Geico… I quit. I was the number 1 producer for my region 10 years in a row. I broke the company record selling 453 auto policies in 1 month. I was selected to sell insurance to all Berkshire Hathaway Shareholders (only a handful get to go) 10 times in a row. And, accomplished Gold tier status 12 times in 14 years. Needless to say, I had an intense go-around and spent my whole life in sales. But after this career streak selling insurance, I hit my breaking point and decided to go independent. I wanted to create a company that gave agents greater opportunity, ones I was now in a position for but had capped out working for other people. I started Gold Insurance Agency and in the first year, accomplished Hall of Fame status with over over 400k in deposits right off that bat. We have over 80 active agents within our agency and we are now a multimillion dollar/year company. My goals are now to mentor many agents to do what I do.
