About Daniel Gribben

I am 24 years old and currently the women’s soccer graduate assistant coach at St Ambrose University where I will be graduating in Spring 2022 with a Master of Science in Information Technology Management. At St Ambrose, we achieved a great deal in the year and a half that I’ve been here. In 2020, we reached the CCAC conference tournament final for the first time ever. We also recorded the highest ever ranked win by beating #9 Central Methodist University. This season, we won the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference tournament for the first time. We also, reached the national tournament for the first time since 2015. While being the assistant to the first team, I was also the head coach of the JV program here with full responsibility. This gave me great experience in delivering and executing sessions, scheduling games, all game-day responsibilities and recruiting. I started coaching at 16 years old with Crystal Palace Development Centre. After this, I coached my local U16 team for a year, in England, before coming to America. In Texas, I continued coaching by working at UHV soccer camps, as well as the Victoria Youth Soccer Organization at a variety of different age groups. I set up my own 1 on 1 soccer coaching schools in Victoria and Houston, and now in Iowa. I have also been coaching at Challenger Sports soccer camps for the last two years, in Iowa, Minnesota, South Dakota, Missouri and Kansas.
