About Daniel Grimes

My name is Daniel and I’m original from County Louth in Ireland. A little background about me, I studied like a maniac for a few years and graduated from UCD with a degree in accounting and finance. After a stint in the accounting world I found it wasn’t the path I wanted to pursue. I decided to head off across Asia, Australia and whole load of other epic countries and travel. During my travels I settled in Melbourne, met some really great people and built my own company called PictionUs. A little intro to what we are about - PictionUs is a wedding photography app that allows couples collaborate their entire wedding party into the one exclusive wedding album. Everyone that’s at the wedding or event gets added into the album through a Qr code or WhatsApp link. Privacy is key so it’s a closed album and only your guest list can see the photos and add to the album. So that’s the brief overview of the problem we solve. Now a little bit about me as a person. First and foremost I am a people person! I love making genuine connections with all the great people I meet and I’ve been lucky enough that PictionUs has helped me turn that passion into a career. My strengths are relationship building, team management and team building, these are central to what we do as a company (what’s the point if we aren’t having a bit of fun along the way). I’m fortunate that with PictionUs I am able to to connect and meet with some awesome people and businesses.Summed up in a few words: I love meeting good people and finding great companies to connect with. I hope we get the chance to work together at some stage in the near future!+353 864579700 dgrimes@pictionus.com
