About Daniel Harper

I have successfully completed a PhD in Electronic and Electrical Engineering under a collaboration with Rolls-Royce. With an MSc in Medical Engineering and a BEng in Automotive Engineering, I have experience in the manufacturing industry and the product life cycle from both the UK and abroad. With a strong interest in Research & Development, I am aiming to put my ideas into action to help both people and the world in any way I can, no matter how small. I always work with a smile, attending many events, including charity and educational. I am passionate about all aspects of engineering and the environment, always trying to find new concepts that can combine them. I have a strong interest in electric and hybrid vehicles, guiding me through my Bachelor's and allowing me to present my ideas to lecturers and colleagues. There is also a fascination for the human body and how medical engineering can save lives, shown by my Master's project in stroke rehabilitation. Outside of education, I enjoy Ballroom and Latin dancing, both recreationally and competitively This is in addition to sporting activities such as trampolining, gymnastics and rugby.
