I am a board-certified sports medicine physician whose goal is to provide early and accurate diagnosis of musculoskeletal injuries or dysfunction, evidence-informed conservative treatment options whenever possible, and support rapid but safe return to sport or activity. My skillset, training, and expertise are aligned in addressing orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, arthritis, and tendon/ligament conditions. I am certified in musculoskeletal ultrasound (RMSK), which raises the standard of musculoskeletal ultrasound amongst physicians and promotes best practices for enhanced patient safety. In addition to a specialized history and physical exam, ultrasound can further assist in confirming a diagnosis, as well as perform targeted ultrasound guided injections and procedures when suitable, including platelet rich plasma (PRP), hyaluronic acid viscosupplementation, percutaneous ultrasonic tenotomy (Tenex), Cryoneurolysis (Iovera),genicular radiofrequency ablation and other ultrasound-guided procedures.
