About Daniel Harris

I am a motivated, enthusiastic and coach-able agilest with a desire to continuously learn. I have spent the last 4 years creating relationships with different agile leaders, inserting myself in different agile meetings, collaborating with product owners, scrum masters and development team members; all to foster a culture of continuous improvement. Starting as an IT support analyst, I was able to succeed in a fast paced ever changing environment, by providing excellent customer service. Demonstrated ability to motivate, mentor, lead and coach other team members to exceed all expectations. Assisted in user acceptance testing for different initiatives in an effort bring new innovative applications or processes to the call center. Promoted to a unique business analyst role within the call center straddling both the operational and developmental arenas. Worked closely with company change agents (Development teams, project teams etc.) to define business processes, evaluate organizational impacts, gather requirements, create user stories and consult with IT and business customers to understand requirements so our support teams can provide the best customer service. Due to acquired relationships, I was able to spend the last 4 months as the scrum master for four new “scrumban” engineering teams supporting our Windows OS, Mac OS, Linux OS, and Browsers. Actively coached team on agile principles and values, defining features and user stories, and the benefits of prioritizing work. Collaborated with operational support teams to remove impediments in an effort increase team productivity. Motivating teams and watching them succeed is what inspires me most about being a scrum master or agile business analyst.
