I am a proactive BA (Hons) Sports Journalism graduate looking for work experience/internship opportunities or post-graduate jobs. Possess strong communication and writing skills with fluency in English language and literature. Keen to pursue a career in Sports Journalism with a focus on Football. In my current internship at the Association of Sporting Directors and while at university at Liverpool John Moores University, I have gained valuable experience covering a variety of sports for the online publication for the ‘insights’ section of the ASD website and MerseySportLive. My work at university has included game recaps, feature articles, and profiles of athletes and other people around sport. I also developed strong skills in researching, fact-checking, and meeting tight deadlines. I am currently also undertaking some work experience at Cardiff City FC, where I have had the opportunity to write match reports and manager press conference reaction pieces. This invaluable opportunity has allowed me to combine my passion for football with my strong writing skills and has given me the first step into proffessional sports journalism. I am a creative and adaptable writer, and I have a deep understanding and passion for football.
