I am very pleased to announce that Shalby Limited, based in India, acquired substantially all of the assets related to the joint replacement implant business from Consensus Orthopedics, Inc, in El Dorado Hills, California on May 15th, 2021. I was fortunate to work with Shalby Limited throughout the due diligence process, and eagerly accepted Dr. Vikram Shah's appointment as CEO of the newly formed Shalby Advanced Technologies, Inc. Shalby Limited acquired all tangible and intangible assets of the implant business including all patents, engineering designs, implant and instrument inventories, as well as the physical plant square feet), and equipment as well as 54 FDA cleared 510(k)'s. Shalby Hospitals is one of the largest chains of multispecialty hospitals and tertiary care centers in India today.
