About Daniel Head

We make a concentrated effort to carefully listen to our clients in order to really understand their concerns. Our goal is to improve their overall experience rather than simply riding the market and hoping it goes higher or attempting to outperform a market benchmark. I am a big believer in active management and have developed customized strategies that are designed to help reduce risk to help my clients achieve their goals. Our team focuses on downside risk management, strategic retirement planning, and works with our clients on estate planning strategies, insurance, and annuity services. I was born in Brooklyn, NY, and earned my degree in Business and Finance from William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri. I was first hired as a Broker Consultant for Cigna, then called Connecticut General, and the shortly after, was recruited to Paine Webber. After six years there and seven at Dean Witter, I returned to Paine Webber in 1994. Several name changes later, I moved my team to Wells Fargo Advisors in 2008. My wife, Carleen, and I share a passion for fine food, wine and travel. My two teenagers, Liana and Nathaniel, attend Christian Academy of Knoxville where they are involved in theater and sports, respectively. We are active in the community and our church. Although I enjoy the outdoors and all sports, the wear and tear on my knees and ankles has slowed my enthusiasm for extreme skiing and full-court basketball, so these days I'm more likely to be found playing golf and hiking.
