I have worked in the investigation arena since for a number of local and central government agencies. I am currently the Senior Investigation Manager (deputy head of unit) for a joint fraud service, comprising of 3 local authorities, 3 government agencies and 8 private sector providers. I have managed large scale investigations as an OIC and SIO, these include drugs and firearms smuggling, VAT MTIC fraud (largest £280mil in loss), insider fraud, bribery & corruption, housing fraud and money laundering. I am a nationally accredited core surveillance officer and have acted as a CHIS handler. I am an Accredited Counter Fraud Manager and a Senior Appropriate Officer for Proceeds of Crime Act applications and seizures. I am a Certified Forensic Investigation Practitioner and have experience imaging and reviewed media devices such as computers, laptops, tablet, mobile phones and various types of external media.
