About Daniel Heston

I am a certified CCMA with three years of experience, and just last year moved to Colorado from Florida. In Florida I worked for First Choice Pediatrics as a Medical Assistant first and then as MA Supervisor after being personally requested by one of our Physicians in opening a new location. In my role I honed my customer service skills, gained valuable medical knowledge, and learned to administer and grow an office in tandem with the doctor and office manager. Currently, I work for New West Physicians as a Medical Assistant. The switch from pediatrics to family medicine has exposed me to many new forms of medicine. The patients are as varied as their conditions, and I have learned invaluable lessons about the entire human body - from the GI tract to the heart, from the integument to the brain. My life’s goal is to become a physician and while I still have a long road ahead, I am committed to growing as a medical professional.
