About Daniel Hoepner

As a Manager for CohnReznick's Government and Public Sector business line, Mr. Hoepner focuses on integrity monitor services and forensic accounting investigations for both corporate entities and government agencies, performing forensic reviews of payment applications, subcontractor audits, and prevailing wage compliance testing on a range of projects, including the Port Authority of NY/NJ Newark Airport Terminal One Redevelopment project, MTA Third Track Expansion project, and the NYCHA Sandy Refurbishment projects. On these engagements, Daniel has performed apprentice/journeyman ratio compliance reviews, reviews and interpretation of design-build construction contracts, MWBE compliance reviews and forensic reviews of MWBE participation programs. In addition, Mr. Hoepner has performed investigative interviews of both contractor and project-level personnel. Prior to joining CohnReznick, Mr. Hoepner was a member of the Construction Integrity Monitoring team at Exiger. In addition, Daniel worked for both Duff & Phelps and Floyd Advisory, where he performed forensic accounting and fraud investigations, concentrating on business disputes, purchase price disputes, securities fraud and other white-collar crime investigations. His past engagements include a broad range of clients from Fortune 500 companies to individual high net worth individuals and has worked with several top law firms. Mr. Hoepner is both a CPA and CFE.
