Our first responders work hard to keep us safe. We need to make sure we’re doing what we can to keep them safe. My company, Cell Signal Solutions, designs and installs communication systems for commercial properties that first responders utilize in an emergency situation. Unfortunately, 9//11 served as a wakeup call for this need as there were many firefighters who couldn’t receive the mayday calls from below due to a lack of radio coverage in high rise buildings. As adopted by the building code, generally speaking, any new commercial building or major rehab of a commercial structure, is required to have an emergency communication system is place, including: • Multifamily • Office • Schools • Storage Facilities • Industrial • Retail • Healthcare • Hotels • Etc. In addition to ERRC & FDNY- ARCS systems, we design and install DAS (Distributed Antenna Systems) for properties looking to give their occupants A+ cellular service. We are proud to share that we’ve been doing this for 10+ years and have passed every radio test on our first attempt!
