About Daniel Hohner

My name is Daniel Hohner, and I am currently employed full-time as the Locate Clerk for Burlington Hydro Inc, Prior to entering the insurance industry, I was employed full-time as Store Manager at The Beat Goes On music store. Music is one of my passions, so it was a lot of fun working everyday in a creative environment that I was so comfortable in, and I was really able to develop an understanding of the music industry from a retail perspective. In addition to my years of varied work experience, I am also a graduate (2012) of the University of Waterloo having majored in Honours English Literature. My experience at UW allowed me to develop both my written and verbal communication skills, and also left me with a desire to seek out employment opportunities that allow for creative team work. I have been working in customer service in some form for over fifteen years now in industries as varied as retail and insurance, and have had many opportunities, including at the management level to learn how to develop lasting relationships with a wide variety of customers, both internal and external. Most of my experience has included an element of leadership, and with these leadership roles I have become familiar and comfortable with many different administrative tasks. I love learning new things and new industries, so I am open to any type of career opportunity that will allow me to utilize my creative, passionate and innovative nature.
