Master's of Science: Civil Engineering, North Carolina State University (NCSU); Raleigh, N.C. Bacherlor's of Science: Civil Engineering, NCSU; Raleigh, N.C Professional Engineer (PE), North Carolina Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) After 14 years of multi-disciplinary experience with the North Carolina DOT & an additional 2.5 years with private industry, in 2009, I joined Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) as an Area Engineer with the D.C. Division. In addition to delivering several high-profile projects, which included ARRA, as the Safety Specialist, I influenced program improvements that increased DC DOT HSIP expenditures by 37% and the HSIP quality score from 58 to 76. In 2011, I joined Eastern Federal Lands Highway Division as the Transportation Operations Team Leader. In partnership with the National Park Service’s Washington DC Area Service Office (WASO), I helped lead the re-development of their nationwide traffic data program (TDP) as part of the agency’s corporate approach to building Federal Lands Management Agencies infrastructure that feeds the MAP-21 identified management programs. In 2014, I joined the Wisconsin Division as the Program Delivery Team Leader and Operations Program Manager. In addition to the environmental, design and construction stewardship and oversight of the federal aid program of projects, which includes federal majors and projects involving TIGER, BUILD, FASTLANE and INFRA grants, my team managers several federal aid programs such as CAP (where I am the approving supervisor), construction, contract admin, local, Tribal, VE and ER.
