After starting my professional career in the banking industry I embarked on the group treasury of the Austrian industrial flagship voestalpine. In over 12 years with the company, my tasks have evolved from an expert to a leadership position and include the following achievements: External funding: Responsibility and/or active participation in many financing transactions- 5 Senior Bond transactions with a volume of EUR 500 million each - 1 of these Senior Bonds is structured as Green Bond, marking the first green issuance in European Steel Industry - 1 Hybrid Bond transaction with a volume of EUR 1 billion - 1 Convertible Bond transaction with a volume of EUR 250 million - 5 Schuldscheindarlehen transactions with a total volume of EUR 1.8 billion - 2 Syndicated Loan Facilities with a volume of EUR 1 billion and >10 participating banks, respectively - Many bilateral and ECA covered loan facilities with commercial and public banks Internal funding: Responsibility for intragroup financing of subsidiaries worldwide- Structuring of both shareholder loans and local bank facilities for voestalpine subsidiaries - Special expertise in countries with increased regulatory requirements such as China, Brazil or India Working capital financing: Structuring and operating several working capital related solutions- Several receivables purchase programs with a total outstanding amount of about EUR 1.5 billion - Supplier finance solutions with a total outstanding amount of more than EUR 1 billion Cash management: Strategic design and optimization of bank account and cash pooling setup- Cash management and pooling solutions for many European, North American and Asian countries Trade finance: Centralized bank guarantee and letters of credit solutions- Structuring and implementation of bank guarantee facilties with several international banks and a total outstanding volume of more than EUR 300 million - Other trade/export solutions such as import/export letters of credit Treasury consulting: Active coverage of worldwide subsidiaries for treasury-related topics- Conducting treasury workshops with local finance teams for optimizing local treasury setup - Covered countries include Austria, Germany, Netherlands, UK, Belgium, Spain, France, Italy, Sweden, Romania, Czechia, China, Brazil, Singapore etc. Leadership position: Head of a team of 4 treasury experts
