About Daniel Hudson

Hello, my name is Dr. Daniel J. Hudson, and I bring to this position more than 26 years of educating k-12 students in meeting their level of academic growth. I have used my experience as a teacher, counselor, and school administrator to make a difference in their lives. In addition to working with K-12 students, I have worked extensively with adults at many levels of career readiness. These levels are from young people who have dropped out of school, returning students to receive their GED or graduate, and even beyond to a higher institute to further their educational experience. Recently I have reentered the job market to hold a position as a Site Coordinator for Cornerstones. I was assigned to manage a federal grant program called the 21st Century Community services. Our location at Herndon High School in Herndon, Virginia, was ideal for working with a diverse student population supporting numerous services. Three of which supported their future dreams, and the immediate goal of completing each school day after the other. Our goal was to extend this principle to reflect a week, a month to a semester. The third was to challenge students to examine their responsibilities to themselves, parent(s), and peers. But keep a definite hold on whom they surrounded themselves with supporters and others with a history of taking.
