About Daniel Ille

Daniel Ille, with a master’s degree in Graphic Technology, is one of the leading Croatian graphic designers of his generation and has close to thirty years of experience in design. During his professional career he further elevated his mastery of graphic design, mostly due to his creativity and ability to think outside the box. He spent a lot of his career working for the leading Croatian graphics studios and advertising agencies on numerous successful projects. Daniel has become recognizable by his incredible skill, which he himself calls "creativity on demand"(In October 2020, he gave a lecture at the TEDx talk about Creativity on Demand.), often balancing between short deadlines and the expected quantity and quality of the design. As a man of many interests, with love of music being one of the strongest, he eventually created a new space for his creativity. He successfully cooperated with numerous musicians and musical organizations, creating visual identities and promotional materials for concerts and music events, monographs, festival catalogues, program booklets, ads, posters, covers, etc.(The Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, Wiener Philharmoniker, Academy of St. Martin in the Fields, The Zagreb Baroque Festival – ZABAF, etc.). He also has long lasting professional relationships with the Croatian Baroque Ensemble, which has lasted for full twenty years, as well as with the Zagreb Concert Management, the Lovro and Lilly Matačić Foundation, Music Information Center, and the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall. The numerous festivals he has worked on include the Korkyra Baroque Festival, Osor Music Evenings, the Heferer Festival and the Croatian Music Festival in Vienna. He has also worked with the top Croatian record labels, including Croatia Records, Cantus, Dallas Records as well as with numerous Croatian and international musicians (Goran Bare, Zoran Predin, Srđan Sacher, Božo Vrećo, Edin Karamazov, Katarina Krpan, Dunja Vejzović, the Zagreb Philharmonics, the Zagreb Soloists.). Daniel approaches each new project with deep understanding and inspiration, combining the visual and musical aspects, trying to understand and then express through his graphic design the uniqueness of the subject while considering the demands of his clients, as well as their need and potential to improve, thus achieving his vision of adding value to already high quality of the service, product or event through his design. He is currently employed as the graphic designer for the publications of the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall. Find out more at:
