About Daniel Iseli

Engineer, Managing Director, and Specialist in Machinery Diagnostics The most reliable information about the condition of rotating machinery – such as gas, steam and hydro turbines, pumps, or generators – comes from their mechanical vibrations. This has been my field of expertise for over 30 years. I joined Vibro-Consult AG in 1991, a company founded in 1988 from the former BBC and fully dedicated to vibration diagnostics in power plants – in Switzerland and internationally. After completing my engineering degree, I started as a junior engineer, gained broad practical experience, and completed various advanced training programmes. In 2009, I took over as Managing Director. Since then, I have strategically developed the company – focusing on state-of-the-art measurement techniques, practical solutions, and an ongoing expansion of services. We have analysed more than 1,250 machines and equipped over 250 with vibration monitoring systems. Our combination of experience, independence, and technical depth makes us a trusted partner in tackling complex challenges. What drives me: The fascination of vibration behaviour, solving critical problems in the field, and the responsibility of ensuring that essential machinery runs reliably – anywhere in the world. My core responsibilities: • Managing Director of Vibro-Consult AG • Technical project management and execution • Development of diagnostic systems and services • On-site vibration measurements and commissioning • Planning and coordination of international specialist assignments
