I am a Deck Watchkeeper, DPO and Integrated Rating with Fifteen years deck experience across nine vessel types in offshore oil & gas, construction, Dredging and bluewater.From the beginning of 2025 I have been working within the Tidewater fleet as a Second Officer and JDPO on AHTS & PSV Vessels, Gaining experience in Supply, Towage and DP operations and am proud to have attained DP Unlimited in October.The transition from deck to the bridge has been an exciting journey, picking up new skills quickly and building on the foundation of my vast deck experience.Since February I sailed with a crew on two vessels, with 3 clients each on different fields.Adapting to the various operating procedures, Vessels systems, layout and equipment means a flexible approach is a must.Onboard the Pacific Dove, we were chartered under Eni then Jadstone servicing the Valaris 247 Jackup rig on the Blacktip and Montara fields. mainly conducting supply work out of Darwin and Broome.In July we picked up the Pacific Centurion from Singapore and steamed to Darwin to commence work with Petrofac. This project involved a static tow of the FPSO Northern Endeavor while she was in the final stages of decomissioning. I feel in just a few swings my confidence has built across all aspects of the officer role especially DP operations, Ship handling, collision avoidance. I have recently joined the Swan Tide, Supplying the Shell Prelude, Itchys Explorer & Floatel Triumph.
