Daniel Slavin is a commercial real estate attorney with more than fifteen years of experience providing strategic legal and business counsel to companies across industries, including financial services, natural resources, food/beverage, retail, and entertainment, among others. He advises on complex real estate transactions, contracts, business strategy, corporate matters, dispute resolution, and litigation. Over the course of his career, Dan has developed a reputation among his clients and colleagues for creative problem-solving and the ability to quickly develop practical, business-focused solutions. His clients rely on him to: • LEAD CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS: Dan strategically negotiates, prepares, and counsels on an array of real estate agreements, such as land acquisition, leases, subleases, purchase and sale agreements, as well as property related vendor, consultant, and services contracts (surveyors, geotechnical consultants, property management). His experience includes representing clients in multimillion dollar sales and purchases. • COUNSEL ON REAL ESTATE & BUSINESS LAW: He advises on several areas of real estate law, such as zoning, real property, easements, and property restrictions, and business matters, including corporate governance, commercial contracts, intellectual property (trademark), business planning, strategy, and structuring. • RESOLVE COMPLEX COMMERCIAL DISPUTES: Dan has successfully represented clients in real estate disputes involving CCRs, easements, title, adverse possession, real estate development, zoning/entitlement, homeowner’s association documents (HOA), contractor, construction, and construction defect claims, as well as business disputes, such as lender liability, fraud, banking/loan transactions, SBA, and breach of contract. He partners with outside counsel to develop business-focused litigation and dispute resolution strategies. Dan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of San Diego and a Juris Doctor from Creighton University. He is a member of the Maricopa County Bar and American Bar Associations, is licensed to practice law in state and federal courts in Arizona, and eligible to waive into several states.
